Closed until further notice.
Please stay healthy and safe. Thank you.
The health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can all be tested by how well we support our libraries. —Carl Sagan
Update: March 27, 2020
The Glasgow City-County Public Library is closed until further notice due to the continuing COVID-19 outbreak. We will continue to post information on our website and social media channels during the closure. At this point, there is no date set for the reopening plan to begin.
Renewals and checkouts have been extended.
Patrons should hold onto all the library materials they already have and continue to enjoy them at home. During the closure, the book drop is closed. There will be no late fines for any of these items, and patrons should return them when the library reopens.
Expiration dates for library cards are being extended. Patrons need their library card numbers to access some digital services.
To download digital material, look for the free Libby and Overdrive apps. Checkouts at the library have been extended so that you can access digital materials without limitations.
The library has always been about community, please stay healthy and safe.
We value your continued support and patience during this challenging time.
