did you

The library is part of the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system.  That means we loan books to other libraries for their patrons, and our patrons can borrow items that are not in the library's collection.  If you want something we don't have, just submit a request for an ILL and we will do our very best to get it for you.

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Closed on Sunday.

If you are nervous about coming inside the library, we offer curbside services.  In any case, this is always an option.

For Curbside Option:  Patrons can contact the library to set up arrangements for curbside services:

ONLINE HOLDS:  Patrons may place holds on materials for pick-up through their online account. We will fulfill online holds and contact patrons when items are ready.

Returning Materials: If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill, please continue to hold onto your items.  You can contact us to renew and we will waive any late charges.

Masks or face covering required, unless you are fully vaccinated, when entering the Glasgow City-County Library.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Public Meeting Space
The public meeting space in the basement is currently unavailable for meetings and activities.  This mainly due to COVID-19 in the last year.  Right now it is closed because of new construction in the basement.  When operating normally, GCCL holds many activities downstairs where there is ample space, tables and seating.  When available, the basement facilities can be reserved for your events at the library (during library hours) free of charge.  When we return to a new normal you can make a reservation or check for availability of the meeting room by calling the library at 228-2731.  You may also email the library through the contact page on our website.

Library Reading Room
The regular reading room upstairs is now open with some limitations.  To respect each others needs and comforts - we ask that patrons practice social distancing, limit time, and wear a mask if not fully vaccinated.  Hand sanitizer and masks are available.  We appreciate your help in  keeping the library a safe and clean place. Thank you for your patience and please watch for more updates as things are subject to change.
