Did you know that the GCCL has a wide range of materials for the holiday season? There are holiday cookbooks, books about traditions and celebrations, kids books, fiction, movies and more.  Stop by and check out our books on display near the circ desk.   

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.  

Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Closed on Sunday.


Masks or face covering are recommended unless you are fully vaccinated, when entering the Glasgow City-County Library.

Returning Materials: If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill, please continue to hold onto your items.  You can contact us to renew, and we will waive any late charges. If you are nervous about coming inside the library, we offer curbside services.  In any case, this is always an option.

Curbside Services:  Patrons can contact the library to set up arrangements for curbside services:


ONLINE HOLDS:  Patrons may place holds on materials for pick-up through their online account. We will fulfill online holds and contact patrons when items are ready.

Library Reading Room  
The reading room upstairs is open with some limitations.  To respect others needs and comforts, we ask that patrons practice social distancing, limit time, and wear a mask if not fully vaccinated.  Hand sanitizer and masks are available.  We appreciate your help in  keeping the library a safe and clean place. Public Meeting Space 
The public meeting space in the basement is currently on limited availability for public meetings.  The basement facilities can be reserved for your meetings during library hours free of charge. Please keep in mind the special limitations, no more than 10 people are allowed for public meetings and gatherings.   To make a reservation and check for availability, call us at the library at 228-2731 or send an email through the contact page on our website.
